Nestled in the heart of Arkansas, Wynne Friends of Animals stands as a beacon of hope for countless furry friends who rely on the kindness and compassion of humans to survive in this world. They were founded with a clear and noble mission in mind: to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in distress, regardless of circumstance or background, while advocating for responsible pet ownership. They are dedicated to being a lifeline for animals that have fallen on hard times and it’s because of this shared passion between us that we’re excited to announce them as our October Rescue Partner.
This rescue has a network of devoted volunteers who work tirelessly to pull animals from dire situations, many of whom come from abusive homes, neglect & abandonment. Wynne Friends of Animals provides them with a safe haven where they can heal and recover, both physically and emotionally, until they’re ready to find their forever homes. They’re committed to providing them with the medical needs they require including vaccinations, spaying/neutering, basic training and exercise, etc.
They firmly believe that every animal deserves a loving forever home and they go the extra mile to match their animals with compassionate and responsible adopters. Through a thorough process of vetting potential adopters, they ensure their animals are placed in secure homes where they will be cared for without worry of a repeated cycle of abuse, neglect or abandonment.
Wynne Friends of Animals also strongly believes in educating their community. They serve as a voice for bully breeds & advocating against the negative stereotypes that affect them. They believe that prevention is as important as intervention and as such advocate on the importance of spaying and neutering, proper training and providing regular and preventative veterinary care. Through their dedication to educating their communities, they strive to reduce the number of animals in need.
Wynne Friends of Animals is a non-profit 501(c)3 who relies solely on donations from the community to continue the important work they do. Their relentless dedication to their community is a prime example of what can be achieved when the communities come together to make a difference.
